Periapical X-ray (small oral film): It is the film in which the limited areas of the jaws and teeth and teeth are taken group by group. They are pulled to check for caries and the condition of the tooth.
Panoramic X-ray (whole jaw and mouth film): It is the film that allows us to see the lower and upper jaws, all the teeth and the bone structures in the mouth in a single film.

Periapical x-rays and panoramic x-rays are taken in our polyclinic.
Radiation occurring in radiological dental x-rays taken with modern instruments and methods is minimal. X-ray films taken when necessary and under appropriate conditions make a great contribution to the diagnosis.
However, pregnancy is a very special situation and pregnant women should not be X-rayed unless necessary. When necessary, the film can be taken by following the rules with special lead-coated aprons.
